Air pollution contributes to climate change and causes millions of premature deaths as well as high health costs every year. For almost 30 years, the SDC has supported efforts to tackle air pollution in its partner countries. A recent example is the Climate and Clean Air in Latin American Cities (CALAC+) project, which promotes low-emission urban transport and construction machinery in Chile, Colombia, Mexico, and Peru, thereby creating synergies between air pollution control and climate mitigation.
Now is the time to take stock and share experiences. Join us on our learning journey on September 25 and October 15, 2025:
In this first session on Thursday, September 25, 2025 - 12:30-14:00 CET (05:30 Lima, 17:30 Bangkok), we will examine ways to improve air quality and the health of local populations, while also contributing to climate change mitigation.
The learning journey is primarily held in English. Translation to Spanish is available.
