Climate Finance
Climate finance includes local, national or transnational financing, originating form public, private and alternative sources, to mitigate and adapt to climate change. These actions can include reducing greenhouse gas emissions, developing renewable energy sources, and improving infrastructure to withstand the effects of climate change. Overall, climate finance is an important tool in the fight against climate change, as it helps to ensure that the necessary resources are available to support the transition to a low-carbon economy and to help vulnerable communities adapt to the impacts of climate change.
