Digital solutions in Climate, DRR and Environment : 13th Network Event of CDE
Building on the dialogue initiated with the new network’s first newsletter on Digitalisation in Climate, DRR and Environment, CDE hosted an online event in December 2023, to discuss the potential of digitalizaiton for C/D/E. In doing so, the event is part of a continuous effort to enhance digitalisation among actors of Swiss development cooperation such as the 37th AGUASAN Workshop on digitalisation and data management in the water sector.
Event Summary
The aim of the event included:
- Fostering a shared understanding of potential fields of applications of digital technologies in CDE
- Sharing approaches and concrete positive and negative experiences on the application of digital technologies for a climate and disaster resilient, environmentally sustainable development
- Asking the right questions when assessing the potential of digitalisation in projects
- Enabling exchange and networking between Switzerland-based members of the newly constituted CDE network and beyond, connect those interested in the specific topic
